Lovely shots - I think the first one is my favourite, for the closeness and 'love' in the shot.

But your off-sider got a nice shot with those bubbles, even if the couple looks a little less comfortable in this shot.

Hi Vince, i like both these shots even if dress is a bit washed out i dont think it matters, it is the moment that matters here and it is a great shot with the bubbles, makes it all worth remembering. i love all your wedding shots as this has been something i have not entered into yet but have been asked to do a few for friends back yard weddings, you know couple time around the traps say to speak so no big drama's.

I admire your work and well oneday i might get the guts to have a go a go as i do often get phone calls from people who know me from the track work i do but i try to shy away from it.
Cheers
John

Thanks MHD & Wendellt.

First time for me with a bubble machine indoors at a reception. Most of the time it is a smoke machine or dry ice in a bucket.

Nice ones shutterbug, that first one is great. The bubbles add an interesting touch to the second, maybe if the couple were not so centered.

Great shots, Vince. The bubble are great in the 2nd one, looks like they are some kind of special effects added with PS.

Well done.

Yes, the D200 is sweet  The only main negative thing about it is the battery life. I just brought the charger wth me and also will be investing in more batteries.

The images are straight out of cam with just resizing and usm.

I said it all before, go to the Auto accessories stores and buy one of the:
12 volts portable battery pack (Starter & Power supply), haul it in your backpack and connect to your D200.

Its batteries (on D200) drain more quickly with the VR lenses, I shot an evening event (5/2/06) on a demo D200 (testing for a customer for banding and battery issues), it ran out of juice at around 300 shots with one fully charged battery (used no flash).
The more of the AF-S glass hunts into focus, the more battery used.

Teriffic shots as usual Vince.
My pick would be the bubbles. My sister in law had the same idea at her wedding, but the shots didnt come close to this.
