#1 and #2 in that order are excellent - well composed and exposed and a great take on a very hard to photograph subject. #3 on the other hand is a little too tightly cropped with no strong central focus. I guess 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

I like these photos.
The colours, the exposure and soft water are beautiful. The statue and the gloss are great. I also agree that #3 is cropped a bit to tightly. I would have included the complete arch of water that emanates from the fish on the left hand side. Another thought: apply lens correction under filters in photoshop to change vertical perspective - straighten the sculpture so that it doesn't lean backwards. (do this AFTER increasing canvas size in Image menu.) Thanks for sharing, Christiand
Hi James,
I know it can be hard shooting in public places but the only thing that ruins #3 for me is the family in the background and the garbage bin in the middle of the fountain, I just seem to focus on them instead of the fountain. Number 1 and 2 are great though. Cheers. Andrew
